US-based Ghanaian gospel artiste, Becky Osei, has expressed her desire to work with some of Ghana’s biggest names in secular music.

Contrary to views held by some industry players about gospel musicians collaborating with secular musicians, the gospel singer claimed that since secular artistes were also made by God, she would be thrilled to work with them.

Due to the fact that everyone was created by God and has a right to know and love Jesus Christ, Becky Osei believes it is a good idea to welcome non-religious artistes to the gospel side.

The ā€˜Your Goodnessā€™ hitmaker stated in an interview with Mr. Handsome on Angel FM that she is open to working with any secular musician as long as the song exalts Jesus Christ.

“Even though I don’t like secular music, that doesn’t mean those who make it shouldn’t be welcomed into the gospel community because no one can tell their relationship with God, so yes, I would be happy to work with any of them,” she added.

ā€œSarkodie, Shatta Wale, Fameye, Stonebwoy are all artistes that would be very useful to God because of their followers. If today they intend to divert into gospel songs they will win more souls for God because of the huge numbers following them,ā€ she concluded.

She, however, urged her fellow performers to accept people from other backgrounds.
