Highlife legend Ben Brako has topped the Global Music Charts with his new single ‘Shame & Scandal’, which featured rapper Asem.
The song has been making waves on the international platforms since its release recently.
It has been consistent on the charts as it climbed steadily to number five and now number one on the Global Music Charts compiled by North Manchester FM, hosted by Sam Brown.
The song urges people to concentrate on their business rather than poking their noses into the private issues of others.
“The song was recorded six years ago,” he indicated, and he is happy with the attention it has been receiving.
‘Shame & Scandal’ was produced by Kaywa. The song also comes with a video.
Ben Brako will be performing the song at this year’s Ghana Fest in Chicago on July 27 & 28 alongside Samini and others to thrill music lovers.
The event, which will be held at the Washington Park in the United State of America (USA), is powered by Ghana National Council and its affiliates.
Born in Accra on May 20, 1952, Ben Brako has had a career spanning over 20 years.
Regarded as one of the pioneers of modern highlife, he launched an active interest in the music and entertainment world at a very young age and has since remained one of Ghana’s best.
