Bisa Kdei on Saturday, March 11 became the toast of thousands of Ghanaian music fans in Toronto, Canada, when he put up a splendid show during the ‘Ghana @60 Unity Concert’ held at the National Event Venue, 1000 Finch Avenue West Toronto, Canada.

The artiste delivered an irrepressible and thrilling performance that got even the most reserved of individuals among the audience up on their feet in sheer excitement.

The event attracted thousands of music fans who turned up to reunite with old pals and reminisce about ‘the good old days’.

Known for delivering mid-tempo songs, Bisa Kdei thrilled music fans to a live highlife gig that saw him perform some of his biggest hits, including ‘Mansa’, ‘Brother Brother’, ‘Metanfo’, ‘Saa, Azonto Ghost’, ‘Baba’, ‘Odo Carpenter’, among others.

Hit after hit, music fans danced like there was no tomorrow. The sound quality and great showmanship of Bisa Kdei and his band was simply extraordinary.

The night was, indeed, one that will be remembered for a very long time to come.

Bisa Kdei on December 21, 2013, launched his 16-track maiden album which is still getting massive sales on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and other international music marketing platforms, as well as the local markets. On June 16, 2015, Bisa Kdei released his hit single titled ‘Mansa’, which was produced by himself and Kaywa.

The ‘Mansa’ hitmaker has received numerous industry awards, including the best movie soundtrack of the year, both at the 2012 Ghana Movie Awards and the Kumasi Based Movie Awards.

He was nominated in the best hiplife song of the year at the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards  and also got himself four nominations in the 2013 MTN 4syte Music Video Awards in the categories – best storyline video, best hiplfe video, best highlife video and best discovery video.

Bisa Kdei got two nominations at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in the best highlife song of the year and best highlife musician of the year.
