Staff of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), yesterday, showed their sense of commitment to the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
This was when management and staff donated an amount of GH?300,000 to the Covid-19 Trust Fund set up by the President to receive and manage contributions from the public to help curb the spread of the virus which has become a menace to society.
Director of Human Resource, Gloria Quartey, was at the Jubilee House to do the presentation on behalf of management and staff.
This was followed by a similar donation of an amount of GH?200,000 by YARA Ghana Limited with a presentation by its Director in charge of the West Africa sub region, Danquah Addo-Yobo.
The Board of the Covid-19 Trust Fund also received other donations from the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana, whose President, Daniel Kofi Quampah, gave GH?10,000, and another GH?10,000 from the chiefs and elders of Tem-Tokolis of Ghana, whose Chairman and leader of delegation, Dr. Inusah Abdul – Nasiru, did the presentation.
Also there was the leadership of the Ghana National Association of Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioners (GNAAP), whose President, Daniel Owusu – Koranteng, also gave an amount of GH?10,000 on behalf of the association as their contribution to help the fight against the pandemic in Ghana.
