Bola Ray
Popular radio personality and Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network and Empire Entertainment, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi, known in the showbiz scene as Bola Ray, is among some selected personalities to be honoured at the Ghana Entertainment and Business Industry Awards (GEBIA) 2021.
He will be honoured alongside other notable personalities at the maiden edition of the awards ceremony slated for June 26 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
The Chief Executive Officer for Shadout TV, organisers of GEBIA, Daniel Kayikah, in an interview with African Entertainment said Bola Ray was shortlisted among other four personalities due to his enormous contribution to Ghana’s entertainment industry.
“Bola Ray for years now has supported both underground and already established artistes in Ghana entertainment industry to have dominance in African showbiz, which is worth celebrating.”
He added, “Bola Ray continues to provide support and opportunities for young Ghanaians in entrepreneurship, music, and media.”
Others shortlisted to be honoured include reggae and dancehall artiste Samini, rapper Reggie Rockstone, music producers Appietus and Okyeame Quophie.
GEBIA is an award scheme initiated to appreciate and award intelligent personalities in our Ghanaian entertainment industry, especially those who have taken it as a profession and using it as a medium for good businesses.
