Bond Savings & Loans Makes Strides

George Ofosuhene, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bond Savings & Loans Limited, has attributed his outfitā€™s recent recognition at the 28th national marketing awards held at the State House, Accra to the success of its ICT programme.

Speaking to BUSINESS GUIDE in an interview at its Tema head office, Mr Ofosuhene said, ā€œThrough technology, we have been able to broaden our frontiers, mobile banking and money. Bond uses ā€˜Bond collectā€™ to collect and deposit money for customers because they canā€™t leave their shops.ā€

Indicating that the informal sector has not been neglected, he noted: ā€œWe have Bond Cash Centres at Abossey Okai, Dome and we are about to include Madina and Kantamanto,ā€ adding that the robust electronic spectrum for the financial sector was speeding up transactions.

Hard work pays

He attributed the achievement of the company to the hard work and honesty of the staff.

According to the CEO, ā€œThe group handles every customer with care; we give every customer a relationship manager who helps the customer to adopt good practices that helps them to grow their business.ā€

He said such excellent customer service makes the customer feel very wanted and important.

Standards

The CEO continued: ā€œThough we are not a bank we choose to operate very standardized banking halls with ambience and the warmness for customer satisfactionā€.

He said Bond Savings and Loans has ATMs cards that are widely accepted at the pay points.

ā€œWe canā€™t accept any deficiencies in our dealings. We go the extra mile to do transfers on behalf of our customers through the partnership we have with Fidelity and ADB for the comfort of our customers.ā€

Some products

He said the company has products for customers to maximize their surplus.

Dua Pa, for example, is specially designed for the masses with competitive interest rates.

ā€œWe undertake fund management, provide working capital, loans and accept acquisitions. We will continue to deliver as we have promised to make our customers happy.ā€

Bond annually sponsors the surgery of a child with heart defect, donates to the Frafraha Childrenā€™s Home and fetes members of the Society for the Blind.
