The Brago Cultural Group, a traditional music and dance group, has been honoured by the Chrisbet Multimedia, organisers of the annual event dubbed ‘Chrisbet Festival of Arts and Culture’ for its contribution towards the promotion of Ghanaian folkloric music, cultural and traditional dance.
The ceremony, held last Saturday, brought together top-notch industry players including musicians, sound engineers, beat makers, bloggers as well as a section of music fans.
Chrisbet Multimedia at the ceremony also honoured some of music stakeholders who have contributed immensely towards the music industry in Ghana.
Brago Cultural Group, which has over the years thrilled fans in Ghana and beyond. The award was received on behalf of the group by its leadership.
After receiving the award, the group which was full of praise to God for winning the award, dedicated the award to God. The group expressed gratitude to the Chrisbet Multimedia for the honour.
It also thanked Ghanaians, the media and fans of the group for the support given the group throughout the years.
Noted for its highly expressive and vigorous dance pieces that reflect Ghanaian and African culture, the group has been in existence for the past years.
Made up of talented and seasoned performers, the group has over the past years been creating waves with magnificent and powerful performances.
It has delighted enthusiastic crowds in several cities and towns throughout the country with performances from their large repertoire of traditional and choreography dance pieces.
