Akuapem Poloo a nd Lawyer Andrew Vortia
Embattled social media sensation, Akuapem Poloo, has described lawyer Andrew Vortia, lead counsel in her nudity case, as God sent.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the actress indicated that she would continue to thank him for all that he has been doing for her.
Poloo was last week handed a 90 days jail sentence by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Christina Cann, for posting naked pictures of herself and her son on social media.
But due a pivotal role Vortia played in the case, the video vixen is currently on bail. He filed an appeal against the jail term at an Accra High Court. In addition to that, he filed an application for bail pending the determination of the appeal case which got the Accra High Court to grant Poloo GH¢80,000 bail with two sureties last Wednesday.
As part of her bail conditions, she has to report to the case investigator every two weeks and further deposit her passport with the registrar of the court.
The court, presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey, said she would only travel with the express permission of the court.
On Friday, she finally regained her freedom after she fully satisfied bail conditions and was therefore reunited with her family.
The actress has since been thankful to everyone who supported her one way or the other.
According to her, she owes her lawyer in particular a lot of gratitude and she therefore can’t stop thanking him.
“I can’t stop thanking him, My God sent Lawyer Andrew Vortia, God bless you for all your support. It is well, we shall see the light at the end of the tunnel,” she wrote on Instagram in addition to photo she shared of herself and the lawyer.
