Captain Smart
The hostof Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Morning Show, Captain Smart, bid the station and its listeners a farewell on Wednesday after announcing his resignation from the Multimedia Group.
This follows earlier media reports which predicted his resignation.
Also, his exit comes not long after top presenters such as Naa Ashorkor and Nana Yaw Brefo also left Multimedia.
Captain Smart, born Blessed Godsbrain Smart, worked with Multimedia for seven years.
The leadership of the company organised a send-off ceremony in the studios of Adom FM in Accra for him on Wednesday to, among other objectives, thank him for the hard work he had rendered to the company and also for how impactful he had been in the media space.
Speaking on the radio during the activity, Captain Smart described his experience working with the station for the past seven years as “amazing.”
“It’s being a very amazing experience…It’s painful to part ways but everything has its end. Last week, I turned in my resignation that I want to move on to do something different. I thank Mr. Kwasi Twum. He took me in as his child and Multimedia has helped me. I cannot and would never stand somewhere else and denigrate multimedia,” he stated.
