CARLOS Kingsley Ahenkorah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema West has supplied 12 tricycles, commonly called Aboboyaa to some constituents.
The tricycles came with comprehensive insurance in case of eventuality.
Presenting the tricycles, the MP described it as a way of reducing the high unemployment rate among the youth in the Constituency.
According to him, the support is also in fulfillment of his pledge to find jobs for youth in the Constituency on a “work and pay” terms to earn them income, after which the tricycle becomes their property.
Receiving the tricycles, the constituents expressed their gratitude to the MP for his kind gesture and promised to ensure that the tricycles are well taken care of.
Mr Ahenkorah used the occasion to remind his constituents to adhere to the World Health Organisation (WHO) protocols on the Coronavirus by washing their hands with soap under running water, avoid large gatherings, wearing face masks and use of hand Sanitizer to protect them from COVID-19.
