A 40-year-old man has been found dead under disturbing circumstances at Mim, in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The deceased, identified as a carpenter, was discovered lying in a gutter on Saturday, January 31, 2026, prompting alarm among residents of the area.
The incident has left the community in shock, with residents calling on the police and other security agencies to thoroughly investigate the matter as well as intensify security patrols in the area.
Speaking to DAILY GUIDE, a resident described the situation as troubling, and appealed to the authorities to uncover the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Police have since conveyed the body to the morgue for preservation and autopsy, while investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, tension remains high in the community as residents await official findings from the authorities.
