ROBERT KUTIN Jnr has thanked all and sundry who contributed in one way or the other to retain him as the Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Kutin Jnr secured 263 votes in the partyās just-ended Central Regional annual delegatesā conference held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Kasoa. His contender, Ben Ayeh, polled 184 votes.
In a post-election statement, Mr. Kutin underscored, āOn behalf of all newly elected regional officers of the New Patriotic Party – Central Region – and on my own behalf, in recognition of the confidence reposed in us, I wish to extend warm gratitude to the Almighty God, all the delegates and key stakeholders; Constituency Executives, Ministers of State, Regional Minister and Deputy, Members of Parliament and MMDCEs, Council of Elders and Patrons, National Council Members, TESCON, Polling Station Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Regional Elections Committee, Electoral Commission, the security agencies, the media and all members of the New Patriotic Party.ā
He added, āI hereby express my sincere felicitations to all the aspirants who participated in the just-ended regional delegates conference and to thank them for their dignified conduct in the run up to, during and after the conference.
āCongratulations to NPP Central Region! Indeed, we have all won together and it is imperative that we remain unified around this collective triumph. Letās together get back to work towards āagenda 19 seats plusā in 2020.ā
