Chief Executive Dozes At Public Function

Hon. Stephen Yeboah dozing off at the dais

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Mponua in the Ashanti Region, who was late for a public function at Nyinahin on Friday, dozed off minutes after he took his seat.

The DCE, who was splendidly dressed in a flashy black suit and a tie, came to the venue after about 45 minutes.

Mr Yeboah respectfully bowed his head to acknowledge the presence of the dignitaries at the function before he took his seat at the dais.

Surprisingly, the DCE started to doze off on the dais few minutes after he took his seat among other dignitaries, including some chiefs in his district.

Some of the people, including journalists that attended the event, captured the DCE dozing off.

Most people at the function said that the DCE, who has been described as energetic and hardworking, was fatigued.

The MC for the 4th annual Delegates Conference and Premium Payment Ceremony of Kookoo Pa Farmers, organized by Kookoo Pa and Transmar Group, quickly called Mr Yeboah to deliver his speech.

The DCE, who said the venue was too quiet, asked the cocoa farmers to make some noise to electrify the place.

Mr. Yeboah then called for a short musical interlude.

The DCE invited some of the cocoa farmers to the dancing floor where he (DCE) exhibited his skills before delivering his speech.

Mr. Yeboah reiterated government’s readiness to support the cocoa farmers in diverse ways to increase their yield.
