The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, last Sunday commissioned a female-headed venture in Ummrah or Lesser Hajj and Hajj business at East Legon, Accra.
DHY-Mayaki Travel & Tours Company headquartered at East Legon, according to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Hajia Aisha, intends managing the aforementioned ventures with a difference.
The Chief Imam who commissioned the company’s offices prayed for its success.
“Ours is a brand new approach to managing Ummrah and Hajj in a manner which would also provide employment to many,” she said, adding “pilgrims must be able to travel in comfort with no stress.”
With the pandemic, travelling must undergo a massive transformation and this is what we intend unfolding within the travelling space of the country, she said.
Behind the company are experienced personalities some of them with over a decade in the travel and tour business.
The company intends to also deal in event management.
“We will work with you to manage all elements of your travel in an efficient, cost effective and ethical manner,” she said to the admiration of the invited guests.
Gracing the function were the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger, Madam Lamidou, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali, Abdul Kadir Toure among other dignitaries.
