Olakunle Oladunni Churchill
Ex-husband of actress, Tonto Dikeh, Olakunle Oladunni Churchill, who is a popular Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, would be supporting some 50 young Ghanaian entrepreneurs.
This would form part of activities by his Churchill Foundation, which focuses on assisting people’s “creativity in areas of promoting development in Ghana.”
In a press statement on Friday, he indicated that he would “continue to play specialized roles in supporting youth, promoting intellectual contents and generally investing into others, with a view to continuously improving and also add value to humanity.”
Churchill, who doubles as the founder of Churchill Group and the Churchill Foundation, arrived in Ghana ahead of the weekend for the activity.
Prior to his arrival, he was crowned the Nwanne’di’namba of Ojoto Kingdom in Anambra State of Nigeria by HRH Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu (Eze Ojota lll).
He was given the title after he was invited by Chief Chinedu Benson Madubuko (Ezeani Chinechendo) to commission an 11km road project constructed in his community, Adazi-Ani, in Anaocha Local Government Area. In attendance at the ceremony were, Chief Clestus Ibeto (Omekannia), Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwuzo), HRH Igwe Robert N. Nwankwo (Igwe Adazi-Ani), Dr. Godwin Maduka, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Alexandra Ibezi, Senator Uche Ekwunife, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, among other dignitaries.
