Cookie and Ibrahim Ben-Bako
This year’s edition of the Ghana Event Awards will take place at the Silverstar Tower, Airport City in Accra on Friday, August 30.
The event, which is aimed at honouring excellence in the events industry, is expected to attract a number of stakeholders in the creative arts industry.
Organisers have announced TV presenters ? Shirley Tibilla, popularly known as Cookie and Ibrahim Ben-Bako ? as the hosts of the event.
Both Cookie and Ibrahim Ben-Bako are expected to bring some new vibes to the awards ceremony whilst they do what they love doing best.
Cookie is the current host of GHOne’s Tales of The Powder Room and Guess Who’s Coming For Dinner.
Prior to making her break into the limelight in 2016, Cookie had worked at Intercontinental Bank Ghana. She has gradually managed to work her way through to become a force to reckon with in Ghana’s showbiz industry.
Ibrahim, on the other hand, is an on-air personality with the Multimedia Group.
He is a host on Joy Prime TV and is not only known for his unique style in hosting but also his great fashion sense. His ability to carry every listener and viewer along his presentation has always been commendable, and he is expected to exhibit that during Friday’s event.
