A new wave of energy swept through Accra as Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights, and the Standard Chartered Building, three premier Grade A commercial destinations came together to host the maiden edition of Corporate in Motion, a wellness-forward initiative designed to inspire healthier lifestyles and strengthen community engagement within the workplace.
This landmark collaboration marks the first time a wellness event of this scale has been jointly delivered across the three buildings proudly managed by Broll Ghana Ltd, positioning their landlords; Agridev Real Estate Ltd, Fairllop Property Developers Ltd, and Clubhouse Ghana Ltd as leaders in corporate wellbeing within Ghana’s commercial real estate landscape.
The event was conceived as a tenant-centred initiative, aimed at creating an environment where wellness is prioritized, community thrives, and the workforce feels valued and energised. Tenants, employees, partners, and members of the broader community embraced the vision with enthusiasm, making the event a vibrant display of collaboration and shared purpose.
Held on Saturday, 29th November 2025, Corporate in Motion attracted over 500 participants who took part in a lively mix of wellness-driven activities open to all fitness levels, including a 10km run and walk from Accra Financial Centre to Stanbic Heights, a 5km run and walk via Independence Avenue, a 10km cycling experience between the same points, and the serene Stanbic Heights rooftop session of Yoga on the Tower. The event concluded with awards across the various categories, and the celebrated title of Overall Best Tower was won by Accra Financial Centre, recognizing the building that demonstrated exceptional participation, team spirit, and overall engagement.
In the lead-up to the event, staff and tenants across the three buildings participated in a highly engaging month-long Step Count Challenge, which fostered camaraderie and daily motivation as colleagues walked their way to healthier habits. The participant with the highest step count, Edward Nii Adu Armah was rewarded for their outstanding commitment throughout the month.
Reflecting on the success of the initiative, Janet Ghartey, Senior Property Manager for the three properties, stated: “Corporate in Motion represents more than a wellness event it reflects our promise to create workplaces where people feel valued, energized, and connected. Our tenants are at the heart of everything we do, and this initiative is part of our continuous effort to build strong corporate communities that prioritize health, productivity, and collaboration. We are grateful to our landlords, partners, sponsors, and participants for believing in this vision and helping us bring it to life.”
The event’s success was further strengthened by the generous support of committed sponsors, including Broll Ghana Ltd, Samsung Ghana, DHL, The Bank Hospital, Accra Metropolitan Assembly, and Decathlon Ghana, whose contributions enhanced the experience for all participants and reinforced the call for a healthier, more active corporate culture.
Lyf Arena supported the execution of the programme, and is acknowledged for its operational role in bringing the day’s activities to life.
Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights and Standard Chartered Building have set a new benchmark for workplace wellness within Ghana’s corporate space, laying the foundation for an even more dynamic and inclusive programme in the years ahead.
