A new energy swept through the city as Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights and the Standard Chartered Buildings, the three premier Grade A commercial office destinations managed by Broll Ghana Ltd, came together to host the maiden edition of Corporate in Motion, a wellness-forward initiative designed to inspire healthier lifestyles at the workplace.
The event was expertly curated and implemented by LYF Arena, an initiative of Strategic Solutions Plus Ghana, Ghana’s innovative wellness platform that is transforming how organizations engage with employee health and fitness, demonstrating the future of scalable wellness solutions across Africa.
This landmark event marks the first time a collaborative wellness experience of this scale has been organised across the three buildings, positioning them as pioneers of corporate wellbeing within Ghana’s commercial real estate space.
Driving Wellness, Community & Corporate Culture
Corporate in Motion was born from a shared belief that healthier employees build stronger organizations. Event Day Activities & Highlights
Corporate in Motion delivered a vibrant and inclusive lineup of activities open to participants of all fitness levels:
- 10km Run – From Accra Financial Centre to Stanbic Heights
- 10km Walk – AFC to Stanbic Heights
- 5km Run – From AFC to Stanbic Heights via Independence Ave.
- 5km Walk – AFC to Stanbic Heights via Independence Ave.
- Cycling – 10km ride from AFC to Stanbic Heights
- Yoga on the Tower – A serene rooftop yoga session promoting mindfulness and mental wellness
The event which was held on Saturday the 29th November attracted over 500 participants, including building employees and members of the broader community, highlighting the significance of wellness activities. Winners across the various categories were awarded for their performance. The ultimate award of Overall Best Tower, which was the building that demonstrated the highest participation, team spirit, and overall engagement was proudly won by Accra Financial Centre.
Month-Long Step Count Challenge
In the month leading up to the event, participants across all three buildings joined an exciting Step Count Challenge, generating daily motivation and camaraderie. The challenge encouraged colleagues to increase their daily movement, share progress, and engage in healthy competition. The overall winner received a special award for their outstanding commitment to staying active.
