Rapper Amerado Burner has explained his decision not to collaborate with Hiplife singer, Barima Sidney, saying he could not connect with the song.

Speaking on Joy FM, the ‘Kweku Ananse’ hitmaker added that his refusal to feature on Sidney’s track was due to a lack of inspiration and connection with the song.

According to him, inspiration is a key factor in his decision to accept or decline a music collaboration. Although he appreciated the track Sidney sent him, he felt that it wasn’t a song he could perform well on.

As a result, he proposed working on a remix of one of Sidney’s classic hits, but the arrangement could not be made.

“Barima Sidney sent me a song, I loved it. I spoke with my team, and I thought the song was not one that I could deliver well on, so I requested a remix of one of his monster hits, but that couldn’t happen,” Amerado explained.

In response to recent comments made by Barima Sidney about being ignored, Amerado urged the veteran musician to be patient, expressing hope that they could collaborate on a future project.

“I’ve seen a couple of interviews where the legendary Barima Sidney has been talking about the fact that I ignored a feature. He should take it easy on me because who wouldn’t want to work with Sidney? Maybe in the future, we will work on a song that I can deliver on,” he added.
