The Ghana Beyond Aid Committee would on Thursday June 11 at 10 am, organize a forum to step up public education and social mobilization towards achieving the Ghana beyond aid agenda amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
Themed “Covid-19 and Our March towards Ghana
Beyond Aid; Turning Adversity into Opportunity” the forum will be held at the Press Centre of the Ministry of Information.
According to a release jointly signed by Dr Eric Yeboah, Secretary, Ghana Beyond Aid Committee and Pius Eman Hadzide, Deputy Information Minister, the forum will be under the distinguished chairmanship of Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Maafo.
It said the event would be addressed by distinguished personalities including
Archbishop Charles G Palmer-Buckle (Archbishop of Cape Coast) Mr. Kwame Pianim (Respected Economist), Dr Yaw Adu Gyamfi, President, AGI, Mr Lawrence Agyinsam, CEO, EXIM BANK and Isaac Jay Hyde, President, NUGS.
Topics to be discussed dring the forum includes; Renewing our mind set and changing attitudes for our collective development under Ghana Beyond Aid; Overview of Ghana’s economic development history and the role of Aid; Industrialisation and Agriculture modernisation at the heart of Ghana Beyond Aid ; Powering Import Substitution to achieve Ghana
Be ond Aid through Strategic Financing and ;The Youth and the vision of Ghana Be ond Aid.
The forum is expected to be aired live on all major Television, Radio and online platforms in Ghana.
