The designated place for packing motorbikes, Sunyani COCOBOD
DAILY GUIDEās motorbike that was parked at the yard of the Cocoa House in Sunyani has been stolen.
The black Haojin motorbike, with registration number M-10 BA 299, is used by staff to distribute newspapers to the districts.
Most tenants in the building usually park their motorbikes at designated place at Cocoa House, Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) office complex.
Surprisingly, all the security personnel of COCOBOD were present at the yard but the thief was able to outwit them.
According to the Circulation Officer, Gilbert Agbodeka, he parked the motorcycle at the place and moved to the office at about 10:30am after using it to transport newspapers to various districts.
However, when Gilbert came out of the office after about an hour, the motorbike was nowhere to be found to the surprise of everybody, including security personnel of COCOBOD who are supposed to keep watch.
The case has since been reported to the Sunyani Municipal Police.
The Regional Office of COCOBOD has also been informed about the theft.
The Brong Ahafo Regional Office of DAILY GUIDE has therefore appealed to the general public in the region, especially those in Sunyani Municipality, Techiman and Berekum, who repair motorbikes and scrap dealers to be on the lookout for the motorbike.
They can also report the matter to the nearest Police Station or DAILY GUIDEās office at the Cocoa House in Sunyani.
The companyās name has been boldly embossed on the motorbike.
