The 2023 All Star Festival has received a huge boost after Captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew (Dede), confirmed his participation and promised to rally his other star players to the Ahafo region for official off-season football tournament gathering.

“l think there’s nothing more exciting for me than going back to a region that has significantly contributed to football development of my country. And l can assure you Doctor, we will be coming,” Andre stated.
“I also know there’s a lot of doubts that we will not make the trip because of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which are just around the corner, but we’ve already thought about it and we will be at Dormaa-Ahenkro to celebrate the contributions they’ve made.”
“I’m also very excited that we will re-unite with Coach Avram Grant. And so everything is perfect,” he added.
