Napo, who is passionate about developing sports in his constituency, toured the construction site on Sunday morning with other dignitaries.
In an interview with the DAILY GUIDE SPORTS, the Manhyia South MP assured he will play leading roles to boost sports in his constituency.
“This project is, among other things, intended to serve as grounds to unearth football talents, which abounds in my constituency,” he said.
Napo, who doubles as the Education Minister, has completed similar modern Astro Turf facility at Abbey’s Park in Ash Town, also in his constituency.
Credible reports indicated that plans are also in place for another Astro Turf project to commence at Konadu Yiadom School very soon.
“I believe that sports, especially football, has the potential of enhancing the lives of the youth so I am determined to improve sports facilities in the constituency.”
Napo was accompanied by the Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey Antwi, and other opinion leaders in the constituency during the inspection tour.
