In a fiery campaign speech at Ofoase-Ayirebi in the Eastern Region, former Akwatia Constituency Member of Parliament, Mercy Adu-Gyamfi, popularly known as Ama Sey, urged the people of Ofoase to reject NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and instead vote for NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming election.
Ama Sey criticized former President Mahama’s past performance, referencing his infamous “dead goat” remark.
“What can a dead goat be used for, except to decompose?” she asked rhetorically, emphasizing that Mahama lacks vision and is unfit to lead Ghana.
In contrast, Ama Sey highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s impressive track record as Vice President, citing his instrumental role in shaping Ghana’s economic trajectory.
She praised his contributions to transformative policies such as the Free SHS program, Digitalization Agenda, and 1D1F, which have improved lives and driven economic growth.
Ama Sey’s rallying cry to the people of Ofoase to vote for the NPP is a testament to her confidence in the party’s ability to continue its good work.
