Dr Likee, Asamoah Gyan
Kumawood actor and skit maker, Dr. Likee, has announced his next child will be named after Ghanaian soccer star, Asamoah Gyan.
According to him, the gesture is to reciprocate the kindness Asamoah showed him since his stint in the film industry.
He made this known when Asamoah visited him on set while filming with his crew.
“Asamoah Gyan is one of the few people who believed in my talent. Even when I was not well-known, he posted my skits and it went viral, and that’s why I am here now. So for Asamoah Gyan, I owe him a lot. I will not be able to pay him back, so the child I will be welcoming next week will be named after him,” Dr. Likee stated.
