A delegation from Fafaa 100.3 FM’s Duamenefa Foundation had an official engagement with the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and MP of Asunafo North, Evans Opoku Bobie last Friday.
The delegation comprised of Professor Yayra Dzakadzie, Director of Research and Statistics, WOI. David Evortepe, Director of Operations and the Executive President and CEO of Fafaa FM, Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe.
The delegation presented a blueprint of the operations of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament to the Minister of Youth and Sports, with copies to the Deputy Minister and the Chief Director.
Evans Opoku Bobie was pleased with what Fafaa FM’s Duamenefa Foundation is doing to develop sports in the Volta Region.
The deputy minister promised to forward the documents to the chief director for further action.
He also donated 10 footballs towards the launch of the 2024 edition of the tournament.
Sports Director of Duamenefa Foundation in charge of Duamenefa Regional Tournament, Patrick Amazing Doamekpor, thanked the minister and directors for their donations and support to sports development in the communities.
He disclosed that government will support the project next year, and promised to be present at the event.
