Ebony, Francis Atsu Vondee and Francisca Kuri
Some persons on social media have criticised the organisers of the one-week memorial service for the late Ebony Reigns for neglecting Francisca Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee, who died with the dancehall artiste.
The late Ebony Reigns died in an accident when travelling from Sunyani to Accra together with her best friend, Francisca Kuri, otherwise called Frankie, and Francis, a soldier with the Ghana Air Force, believed to be Ebony’s bodyguard.
Some people claimed Frankie and Atsu were “totally ignored” during Ebony’s one-week memorial service on Sunday at the St Martin’s De Porres School at Dansoman, which attracted thousands of people from all walks of life.
NEWS-ONE cannot confirm if the families of the three dead persons will be meeting to plan the impending funerals.
In an earlier publication, the Ghana Armed Forces said it went for Atsu’s body and would later release it to the family.
Frankie, according to other reports, will be buried on March 3 before Ebony’s on March 17.
Frankie, 27, was born Francisca Maame Yaa Teboa Nkansah. She reportedly completed Holy Child School in Cape Coast in 2008 and relocated to America. She returned to Ghana sometime last year and met her untimely death on February 8.
Before her death, Frankie used her Instagram to also blog about happenings in the entertainment circles.
As of Tuesday, there were no indications of their families planning something together.
