Vitamilk, organiser of the Girl Talk Share Your Experience & Wishes Competition, has presented prizes to the winners of the competition at a ceremony held at the offices of Vitamilk in Accra.
The presentation ceremony attracted a number of personalities, including representatives from Plam Media and the headline artiste for the Girl Talk Concert, Efya.
Efya presented Vitamilk products, T-shirts with names of the winners printed on the T-shirts, souvenirs from the sponsors, among others, to the winners.
The competition which ran for several weeks on all Girl Talk social media platforms was heavily participated by fans of the Girl Talk Show and lovers of Efya. Winners were randomly selected.
Over the years, the Girl Talk Concert has been acclaimed as the best and foremost music event in the country; the night when all other activities get obscured by the glitz and glamour, patrons and artistes.
Efya will end her reign as the headline artiste of the Girl Talk Concert after three amazing and memorable years.
As she gracefully bows out this December, names like MzVee and Ebony have popped up as possible candidates, but that can only be confirmed at the show by the organisers.
The award-winning singer has confidently held the Girl Talk since Becca’s exit in 2012, but this year’s event which is set to come off on December 27 at the National Theatre will be her last.
There is no doubt she is preparing something wonderful for patrons who will be hoping to hear great tunes like ‘Best In Me’, ‘Weather For Two’, ‘Make I Love You’, ‘Jorley’, ‘Life’, ‘Until The Dawn’, among others, as this is her final show.
Strictly regarded as a ‘girls girls’ outing, the rule has always been broken with the presence of some male celebrities who find their way into the auditorium.
The likes of John Dumelo, Kwabena Kwabena, Samini, Trigmatic, Akwaboah, Pappy Kojo, E.L, Joey B, Sarkodie and Nigeria’s M.I have been at past editions.
