The estate
MANAGEMENT OF SummerHill Estates has appealed to government to fast-track the construction of the Ashiaman-Nanakrom–Santoe road.
According to management of the Estates, the deplorable state of the road was hampering the movement of persons and goods.
Operations Manager of SummerHill Estates, Edward Dorsaa, made the call when addressing journalists at a media soirée on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, as part of the first anniversary celebration of the Estates.
Commenting on the poor nature of the road and its impact on movement, he said “indeed, it affects our business in a very bad way.”
SummerHill Estates was launched in June 2018 by then Deputy Minister of Works and Housing, Freda Prempeh.
The 6.7-kilometre Ashiaman-Nanakrom–Santoe road is believed to be one of the numerous road projects under the $2 billion Sinohydro bauxite deal.
Mr. Dorsaa explained that SummerHill Estates was contributing its quota to address the housing deficits in Ghana but would require government’s support to make the area easily accessible.
He seized the opportunity to brief the media on some ongoing and upcoming housing projects that SummerHill Estates was embarking on in areas like Prampram and Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
