The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has issued a public advisory regarding a series of fraudulent recruitment scams that have recently emerged.
A press statement sighted by the newspaper and signed by it Executive Officer, Delese Mimi Darko stated that in these scams, individuals receive deceptive messages or emails requesting personal information and money in exchange for purported job opportunities at the FDA.
“To protect yourself from falling victim to these scams, the FDA urges the public to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited messages that ask for personal details or payment,” she added.
Madam Darko further entreated anyone who encounters suspicious communications to report them to the FDA’s Head Office or any Regional Office across the country.
