Diego Costa
Turkish clubs Besiktas and Fenerbahce are interested in taking Chelsea outcast Diego Costa on loan until January.
The Chelsea striker only wants to go on loan until January so that he can then sign for former club Atletico Madrid, when their transfer ban is lifted.
The two Super Lig outfits have been interested in taking Costa on loan for a while but now they only have until Friday to clinch their target, when the Turkish transfer window closes.
Costa, who has no intentions of returning to Chelsea after being told over text by manager Antonio Conte that he was no longer part of his plans, is desperate to link up with Diego Simeone again.
Besiktas’s and Fenerbahce’s interest comes as the Spanish international was left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad.
The decision to exclude him from the club’s European squad comes just days after the striker was remarkably listed in Chelsea’s Premier League squad.
The 28-year-old Spaniard has not featured for Chelsea since their 2-1 FA Cup final defeat against Arsenal back at the end of May.
