Forbes has unveiled a digital network called Forbes8 to help drive entrepreneurship across the world.

The launch of Forbes8 App took place at the Movempick Hotel in Accra last week in partnership with local internet service provider, Busy Internet.

According to Forbes, the design of the Forbes8 App is to promote a fast-changing global workplace.

It is also to inspire entrepreneurs to keep doing what they love.

Ghana is the maiden country to benefit from the Forbes8 App.

Ghanaians will have the opportunity to join and watch streams from live business events and interactions across the world.

Entrepreneurs will benefit from the high-performance digital channel designed to equip them.

The Deputy Communications Minister Vincent Sowah Odotei, who graced the occasion, said that Forbers8 will offer Ghanaian entrepreneurs an “invaluable” opportunity to tap into the resources of world business leaders.

“This will help to strengthen their business partnership, build digital economies and foster innovation and growth in the country.”

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AW3 Media Group, Amos Winbush III, said that Forbes8 “is not only to create content but to create opportunities.”

Through the partnership with Busy Internet, Forbes will offer affordable data packages. Users can access these affordable packages via the short code *3180# or the app.

They can also stream seminars and interact with business leaders.

The Forbes8 app would be available for download this week on both the Android and iOS platforms.
