Fred Nuamah Joins World Stars At Cannes Film Festival

CEO of Ghana movie awards, and the National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament hopeful for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Fred Nuamah is among film stakeholders from around the world who are taking part in this year’s edition of the Cannes Film Festival in France.

This year’s festival is the 76th edition. It kicked off on May 16 and will be climaxed on May 27 2023.

One of the biggest film events on earth, the festival is showcasing major movies from last year.

So far, there has been a standing ovation for Johnny Depp, honorary Palme d’Or’s for Harrison Ford and Michael Douglas, and red-carpet appearances from stars including Cate Blanchett, Ethan Hawke, and Dame Helen Mirren.

Fred shared photos of himself from the Cannes red carpet looking all nice and full of smiles.

Fred is currently a parliamentary hopeful for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency on the ticket of the NDC.

He is hoping to lead the party in Ghana’s 2024 parliament election in that constituency.

Last week the NDC held its primaries to elect its presidential and parliamentary candidates for Ghana’s 2024 general election but Fred’s constituency’s election was postponed.

He is expected to be back in town soon to continue with his campaign.
