Gay Fulani Chief Exposed

A prominent member of the Nima community in Accra has found himself on the wrong side of the law, as some youth of the area are on his heels.

It was gathered that the elders of the area have accused the Nima Chief of Fulani of being a homosexual and therefore reported him to the police. The youth, on the other hand, are looking for the chief to exact instant justice, which could possibly result in lynching.

Abdul Kadir Mohammed is the chief of a nomadic tribe called the Fulani in Nima, and as a chief, he is supposed to live above reproach. However, the canker of homosexuality seems to have eaten deep into the Ghanaian fabric to the extent that chiefs are now involved.

There are stories about a landlord in Nima who has dedicated his house to homosexual activities, but this remains unconfirmed.

Same-sex relationship is frowned upon in Ghana, as the act is outlawed by the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
