Nii Ayikoi otoo
The Ghana Friendship Association of Edmonton, in the Alberta Province of Canada, has donated $20,000 Canadian dollars to the Ghana Covid-19 National Trust Fund.
The Trust Fund was established by President Nana Akufo-Addo to fight the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
The donation was made possible with contributions from members of the group after the intervention of the Ghana High Commission in Canada, Nii Ayikoi Otoo.
The group has directed its bankers to remit to the account of the Trust Fund the amount donated.
The High Commissioner, Nii Ayikoi Otoo expressed his appreciation to the group for their quick response to his appeal.
