The nominees and categories for the 2023 Ghana Modeling and Fashion Awards (GMFA), have officially been announced.
Some of Ghana’s biggest stars competed for more than 16 categories, for various prizes which was announced on June 24.
Numerous people involved in modeling and fashion, as well as journalists covering entertainment, attended the unveiling of the nominees.
The GMFA, organized by Lark Empire, is an annual ceremony to recognize and honour exceptional people for their contributions to the development of the fashion and modeling business over the years.
The voting lines have officially opened, and Ms. Larkuor Adjartey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lark Empire, urged people to cast their votes for their preferred nominees in a statement.
Some categories for the awards included Fashion Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Discovery Model of the Year, Hairstylist of the Year and Female Model of the Year.
Other categories she mentioned are Male Model of the Year, Makeup Artist of the Year, Accessory Designer of the Year, Fashion Photographer of the Year, Fashion Icon of the Year, Modeling Agency of the Year and Fashion School of the Year.
