Ghone TV Loses Another Presenter To TV3 Family

Nancy Adobea

Nancy Adobea, a popular host of Duvet, a sex and relationship show on GHOne TV has quit the EIB Network.

Ms Nancy as she is affectionately called has joined Media General, owners of TV3, adding to the tall list of Ghone presenters who have already moved on to the Media General platform.

Her departure has heightened speculations that the two media houses have been engaging in some kind of employee poaching war.

Workers of both entities have been switching to either camp.

However, in terms of numbers, Ghone seemed to have lost more employees to the other side.

They included Giovani Caleb, Berla Mundi and Cookie T among others. Ms Nancy who was one of the household names on the EIB Network is the newest to make her move.

Her new appointment was announced by Media General on May 4, 2022.

General Manager of 3 Group (TV3 and 3FM), Francis Doku said they were happy to have Ms Nancy joining them and believe that she would contribute her best to the stations.

“We welcome Ms Nancy Adobea Anane to Media General and we hope that she would bring her best to a group that is already the market leader and still pushing to remain at the top of the broadcast and content business in Ghana.”

Nancy is not a novice in the media landscape. She started her broadcast career with Kumasi-based Invisible FM (now Nhyira FM) and continued to Nkosuo FM, Luv FM, and Ultimate FM, all in Kumasi. She joined EIB Network when the latter acquired Ultimate FM as part of the group and was later transferred to Accra to work with GhOne TV.

Aside from being the host of Duvet, Ms Nancy also served as head of Wardrobe and Makeup for GhOne TV.
