GHone TV Relocates

GHone TV has moved into an ultra-modern studio at the Platinum Place office complex in Accra, furnished with the very latest technology in TV broadcasting.

The move is to aid the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network to enhance TV broadcasting and continue to raise the bar in Ghana’s TV and entertainment industry.

Last Friday, a selected Ghanaian media had the opportunity to tour the facility after a meeting with the EIB’s corporate communication department to reiterate EIB’s vision as one of the biggest media brands in Ghana at the moment.

The occasion was also used to introduce the various business managers heading the various subsidiaries of the EIB Group.

Speaking at the meeting, Jay Foley, Business Manager of Live FM, revealed that Live FM is the current biggest youth brand in Ghana, according to EIB’s ratings.

“Currently, I’m very sure that you can attest to the fact that we stand out as the number one urban youth brand in Ghana as we speak. Per what ratings, I think if you come to the unit, we will share the details with you,” he emphasized.

“Our mission at Live FM is to create and develop relevant superior products to attract the biggest audience share in the youth market, positively impact the behaviour and lifestyle of the youth and assure maximum value to our partners,” he added.

Business Manager of GHone TV and Agoo TV, Astus Ahiable, also reiterated EIB’s plans to further enliven the standards in world TV broadcasting.

According to him, “We feel that GHone TV is matured now …so we are moving into the discerning market.”

Ghone TV will now be operating from Platinum Place office complex at Ridge in Accra.

It is the EIB Group’s 10th business unit within a period of two years. Currently, EIB owns Starr FM, LIVE FM, Kasapa FM, Agoo TV, Empire FM, Ultimate FM and Abusua FM (all in Kumasi), Agoo FM and the Daily Heritage Newspaper.
