Gloria Ampofo
Ghanaian gospel musician, Gloria Ampofo, has released a song to celebrate St. Rose’s Senior High School’s 60th anniversary.
The song hails the school as one of the best schools in Ghana and praises God for bringing them thus far. The song forms part of her fourth album.
Madam Ampofo is a renowned gospel musician and an alumnus of St. Roses Senior High School.
In 2014, she released her first album, which featured six Christmas carols and two instrumentals. In 2017, she composed a song for Ghana at 60 years, and in 2022, she released a song for the Ghana national team, Black Stars.
She received an award on December 27, 2024 from the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), recognising her work in composing a song for Ghana at 60 years and the Ghana Black Stars during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Gloria Ampofo believes a cheer song for St Roses could go a long way to help raise the morale of the celebration. “God richly bless the current Headmistress, Ms. Marian Esi Jackson and the Board Members of the school,” she added.
The singer is expected to do a live rendition of the song at the corporate and media launch.
