Recks Brobby
The sixth edition of GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human (GFH) would be launched officially tomorrow, Reks Brobby, founder, GFH has said.
The initiative, aimed at reviving 100m athletics in the country has succeeded in producing athletes who are currently in Australia for the Commonwealth Games.
Brobby indicated “The steady success of the seven year initiative, has kept us on our toes all these while. All is set for the launch, we are encouraged and are grateful for all our sponsors, especially GNPC.
“After five years, l can look back and say we have achieved our aim of breathing life into 100m athletics in the country.”
Nana Bediatuo Asante, secretary to the president is expected to grace the event as the Guest Of Honour.
Winner of the 2015 edition, Emmanuel Dassor, U-18 winner, Sarfo Ansah, 2016 winner Joe Paul and 2017 winner, Hor Holotsu, products of the initiative, are all in the Commonwealth Games team in Australia.
