Brobby(L) in a pose with the technical team
Four athletes have been chosen for an experimental one year training program in Accra after this year’s GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human final.
The four will be introduced to Ghana soon but in lieu of this, a technical team had been inaugurated.
They are made up of the nation’s best sprinting coaches, Ohene Karikari, Coach Koora and Coach Amuzu. They will be helped by three professionals; a sports psychologist, Rachael, Nutritionists, Matilda and Tiffany, a muscle trigger specialist, Andrew, a strength and conditioning guru, Yaw Mograbi and Dr. Ken Aryeetey will be the medical doctor for the team.
Reks Brobby of the Ghana’s Fastest fame said that “We have ten professionals working together to train four athletes and bring out the best in them. It has never been done before and we are very excited at the prospects.”
The Speedsters Club is paid for by GNPC and Adidas will kit them for a year.
