Fast-rising Ghanaian artiste, Gona Boy, has being featured on Apple Music Africa Now Playlist Cover among other acts.
Apple Music Africa Now brings together the sounds of the continent; from hip-hop, highlife, Afrobeats, and alté to house, Afrobongo, and Kuduro.
The global music streaming platform released this month’s Africa Now playlist, which features not only music artistes but DJ Mix featuring multi-award-winning international DJs, producers, curators, and music editors among others.
In a post, Gona Boy on X expressed his excitement and appreciation to the Apple Music streaming platform.
The post read, “Honoured to be on the cover of Apple Music’s Africa Now playlist. My song “SAME TIMBS” featured among powerful sounds from across Africa. Grateful for the love and the journey. @AppleMusic.”
In a separate post, he wrote, “Deeply honoured and grateful to be selected for Apple Music’s Africa Rising: Class of 2026. Thank you, Apple Music, for the belief, the platform, and the opportunity. Africa to the world, the journey continues. MASHALLAH OBOY FANTASTIK.”
