Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charger Limited, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, has marked his birthday and wedding anniversary by donating to the Akropong School for the Blind.
The multiple award-winning CEO, who was in the company of his wife, Mrs. Doris Bortey Borketey, presented items worth thousands of cedis and an undisclosed amount of money to the school over the weekend.
The items included bags of rice and sugar, boxes of cooking oil, packets of toilet rolls, cases of soft drinks, boxes of water, detergents and a cash prize of GH¢5,000.
“We at Charger Limited will collaborate with the management of the school to leave a landmark impression in the school. Coincidentally, today also marks my beautiful wife and l our first marriage anniversary, we decided to share our joy with these precious students, as God continues to bless us, we will bless the school too,” he indicated.
The assistant headmaster of the school, Mr. Joseph, expressed profuse thanks to Mr. Borketey for the gesture and encouraged the students to study hard in order to become responsible citizens.
