The Humanity Magazine International has honoured the Omanhene of Ankwa Doboro Traditional Area – Nana Kwame Agyare Oberenpong II.
The honour was in recognition for developing his community and ensuring fair but equitable distribution of land among the people in the area.
Speaking in an interview, Deputy Country Director of the Magazine, Yahaya Alhassan, praised the leadership qualities of Nana Agyare saying, “It was in recognition for your noble work in promoting education, the cleaner-greener environment and support for community development that’s why we are conferring this Humanity Award on you to encourage you to do more for the benefit of the community.”
He indicated that the Humanity Magazine was in partnership with African American institutions to link up with communities in Ghana for social and economic purpose, as part of programmes aimed at building stronger ties with African-Americans and those within the diaspora through what he referred to as the Joseph Project.
The Humanity Magazine campaigns for humanitarian endeavours and investments to create employment for the youthful citizens of Africa.
It awards individuals and corporations who have excelled in their respective fields of endeavours.
