Sensational Ghanaian female singer Jackeline Acheampong known as Gyakie has disclosed that her passion for music was inspired by her father Nana Acheampong, who has been the biggest music influencer in her life.
The’ Forever’ hitmaker in an interview with Pulse Ghana monitored by DGN Online, said Nana Acheampong who is one of Ghana’s most celebrated highlife legends in the country since her childhood influenced her music, a career.
“My Dad since childhood always takes me to a musical concert where I watch him sing with other bands making me fall in love with music, and am grateful for that.”
Gyakie disclosed on Twitter that she will be performing with her father for the first time this December. Gyakie is set to thrill fans and music lovers at her concert this festive season dubbed, ‘The Live Experience With Gyakie’.
The concert will be held at the La Palm Beach Hotel on Sunday, 19 December 2021. Other artists expected to perform include Efya, Kwesi Arthur, Black Sherif among others.
