‘I Never Contacted Kuami Eugene For A Feature’

Kuami Eugene and Patapaa

Patapaa has debunked claims that he has ever reached out to Kuami Eugene for a collaboration.

According to him, he has never spoken to Kuami Eugene about doing a song with him.

He, therefore, found his recent claims on GHone TV outrageous and surprising.

Some weeks ago, the ‘Angela’ hitmaker alleged that Patapaa’s music is noisy and he has no plans to collaborate with Patapaa on any song.

“He didn’t say he has something for me, he says he needs me on a song, he’s calling me for a feature and I said no because I’m not ready,” Kuami Eugene said in a snippet of the interview circulated on social media.

Asked if Ghanaians would have to wait for a collaboration from them in the future, he answered, “People shouldn’t wait. It’s never going to happen. Patapaa’s kind of songs are not me, he makes too much noise.”

But speaking on Hitz FM with Dr Pounds on Friday, the man who now calls himself Patapeezy said, “Before God and man, I am speaking the truth. I never sent a song to Kuami Eugene for a feature… I have also not called him for a feature. It’s very painful he intentionally told those lies about me to destroy my brand.”

“The only time I met Kuami Eugene was when we both performed at ‘Ghana Meets Naija’. That was the only time we met. The only people I talk to who are my friends are Pope Skinny, Medikal, Article Wan and Kofi Kinaata. They are my friends. Stay Jay also advises me a lot on phone,” he added.
