The Chief Executive Officer of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement Ltd, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, inspected a fully funded infrastructure project at Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO).

The flagship project, which was revitalised in 2022, entails a 1,600-bed dormitory facility and is now 90% complete.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, who doubles as an alumnus of the school, toured the site, interacted with students and staff, and expressed satisfaction with the pace of work after attending a funeral in Salaga, in the Northern Region.

“We’re almost there… this project will be completed on schedule, and I will continue to give TAMASCO the support it needs,” he told students and school authorities.

In his interaction with the students, Mr. Mahama encouraged them to remain committed to their studies, saying, “Focus on your education because the future is yours, and we will continue to give you the support you need.”

On November 22, 2024, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama donated a brand new 35-seater bus to the school. The donation, made on Mr. Mahama’s behalf by his Special Aide, Rafik Mahama, aimed at improving the lives of students on campus as well as the vulnerable or less privileged in society.

“We hope the gesture will mitigate part of the transportation challenges on campus and also go a long way to inspiring the students to study hard as they aspire to be great people in society,” he stated.

Receiving the bus on behalf of the school, the headmaster expressed gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for his continuous support to the school.

“It’s a very good gesture, and this will help ease a large part of the transport challenges the school encounters sometimes, especially the National Science and Maths (NSMQ) team,” he disclosed.
