ICU Recognised For Labour Right Contribution

‎The Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU) Ghana has received an award for its outstanding contribution to labour rights and industrial harmony for national development at the 3rd Ghana Development Awards.

The award ceremony, organised by the Business Executive, selected the union as one of the country’s distinguished contributors to labour rights and national development.

The General Secretary of ICU, Morgan Ayawine, received the award – a medal, plaque and a certificate- on behalf of the Union.

In a citation, the organisers acknowledged ICU’s exceptional leadership, innovation, partnership, and enduring commitment to advancing the country’s development, inspiring resilience, supporting socio-economic recovery, and sustaining national progress.

‎The Union expressed its sincere appreciation to the organisers of the award for the honour and pledged to sustain its activities towards workers’ welfare in the country.

ICU further dedicated the award to the management, staff, entire membership of ICU-Ghana and Ghanaian workers in general.
