Rev Mrs Campbell presenting the cheque to Mr. Affram INSET: The items presented.

The management, staff and pupils of Immanuel Restoration School Complex at Abelemkpe on Wednesday donated a number of items to the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.

The items which included a cheque for GH¢1,732 and quantities of vegetable oil, mini bags of gari, maize and rice, non-alcoholic drinks, boxes of biscuits, fairly used clothing and shoes were presented to the management of the school located at Dzorwulu.

Moses Affram of the IT department of the school, who received the items on behalf of the Special School, paid glowing tribute to Immanuel Restoration School for its sustained annual donations to the school over the last five years.

According to him, the purpose for the establishment of the Special School, among other factors, is to provide special training for persons with disabilities in order to equip them with skills that will make them productive so that they can contribute their quota to national development.

Rev. Mrs. Cecilia Campbell, Founder and Director of Immanuel Restoration School Complex gave an assurance that the school would continue to donate to the Special School annually.

She explained that the school (Immanuel Restoration School Complex), whose motto is “Immanuel: God with us”, was established as a private basic and Christian institution aimed at providing leadership training to pupils, as well as increase their willingness to donate to members of society who are vulnerable through such practical approaches, and also spending some time with recipients to provide words of encouragement.
