Belinda Dzattah
Actress Belinda Dzattah has denied claims that she once ‘shared’ the same bed with production manager-turned-actor and producer, Roger Quartey, in return for movie roles.
According to her, “It is a fat lie because it never happened.”
In an interview with NEWS-ONE last week, the ‘Heels & Sneakers’ actress was quoted to have said no producer or director has ever demanded sex from her.
Her long journey to this level in her career, she disclosed, was by dint of hard work.
However, some industry sources claimed she lied. They claimed she actually dated Roger at point in her career, and he favoured her by giving her roles in movies.
But reacting to the claims, Belinda said the rumours are not true. People, she claimed, are just making up stories.
“I never dated Roger. Who are those making the claims? It’s lie,” she added.
Born Belinda Sefakor Dzattah, she is the first of two siblings. She comes from the Volta Region of Ghana.
She had a stint in Ghana’s movie industry in 2012 when she got her first gig in ‘5 Brides’, a production by Venus Films Productions, and she has since not looked back.
She won the best supporting actress in drama series at the Ghana Movie Awards 2018 and is hoping for more achievements in the years ahead.
Belinda underscored that she is passionate about her job and she has never slept with any producer for roles.
