Jean Mensa Receiving a citation from Yaw Osafo-Maafo
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Ms. Jean Adukwei Mensa, has received a recognition from the Internal Audit Agency for being prompt in addressing recommendation from the agency and for her overall support for internal audit routines.
The EC Chairperson, known for her steadfastness, is the Best Head of a Covered Entity that Supports the Internal Audit Unit (IAU) in the MDA category, recognition bestowed upon her last week during a function organised by the agency to recognise those who have excelled in matters pertaining to internal audit conformity.
An attractive citation accompanying the honour states that as EC Commissioner, she ensured that the Internal Audit Unit received sufficient resources, space, and logistics, enabling it to carry out its duties objectively and independently without intimidation.
The citation continued that her actions have significantly improved the internal control systems of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
